Umid Na Bayani

     This blog is an official entry for the Doon Po Sa Amin "Ano ang Kwento Mo?" a project where teachers and students of Smart Schools Program (SSP) partner schools are encouraged to create video blogs to feature a distinct characteristic, place, or culture in their communities.

     We often refer teachers, firemen, doctors, and sometimes even dogs and other animals as heroes. But had you ever thought of referring the term "hero" to a plant? A plant named mangrove was referred by us as a hero, because it was known as a habitat for fishes, and also as barriers for waves in the seashore, but we do not really appreciate it much, thats why it is titled as "umid" or speechless.
